Depending on how the XBB Dongle is installed, an additional cable may sometimes be required. A Y-splitter might be necessary if something is already connected to the OBD2 port. In some cases, an extension cable may be needed if the OBD2 port is inconveniently located.

We sell two different types of cables specifically for these purposes.

Note! Note! When using these cables, it is important to ensure that the XBB Dongle® is mounted with firm contact against the car’s interior and not left hanging freely. This is necessary for the built-in accelerometer in the XBB Dongle® to detect movements of the vehicle, thereby waking it from standby mode and ensuring correct functionality.
